I started learning about craft beer in 2014. The first “true” craft beer that I can ever remember having was a Creme Brulee Stout by Southern Tier Brewing Company. Since then I have gone on to become a Certified Beer Server via the Cicerone Certification program. I aspire to become a Certified Beer Judge in the near future.
In the meantime I manage and bartend at a restaurant in Harlem, NYC and my passion extends far beyond beer. I have an appreciation for all things food, wine, beer, and spirits (especially whiskey).
I hope that Girl Meets Brews becomes a place where we can learn, write and celebrate all things food, drink and culture together. Cheers!
